Prof. dr. Annemieke Buizerd

Annemieke Buizer is a pediatric rehabilitation physician and professor of pediatric rehabilitation medicine at Amsterdam UMC. She is a team member at the Amsterdam Leucodystrophy Center, and head of the Amsterdam UMC Cerebral Palsy Center of Expertise. She is a clinician and researcher, with a special focus on understanding underlying mechanisms of motor problems (from brain to muscle) and on interventions to improve functioning in children with neurological disorders.
