Ingeborg Krägeloh-Mann

Ingeborg Krägeloh-Mann is Prof. em of the University of Tübingen, former director of the Dept. of Paediatric Neurology and Developmental Medicine at the Children’s Hospital and former Executive Medical Director of the Department of Paediatrics. She trained with Richard Michaelis, Tübingen , and Jean Aicardi, Paris.Her scientific interests are the phenomenology, the origin and epidemiology of the cerebral palsies (cofounder of the surveillance of palsy network in Europe, SCPE), and neuroplasticity after early brain lesions, as well as the natural history, biochemistry, neuroimaging and treatment response of neurometabolic disorders, especially the sphingolipidoses.
