Dr. Rogier Min
Dr. Rogier Min is interested in how astrocytes control electrical signaling in the brain, and how this process is disrupted in disease. His research focuses on the leukodystrophy MLC, a disease characterized by disturbed brain ion and water homeostasis. His team combines electrophysiology, microscopy and molecular biology to study astrocyte dysfunction in MLC, with the ultimate goal to identify targets for urgently needed therapy.
